Artist Starves Dog to Death In Art Exhibit April 18, 2008

This is sick! Slowly killing a dog for art?! WTF! Why doesn’t this artist just shove his art up his sadistic arse!
Here’s a letter posted in PAWS…
Hi all,
this is a very serious matter…
In the 2007, the ‘artist’ Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, he tied him to a rope in an art gallery, starving him to death.
For several days, the ‘artist’ and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful ‘masterpiece’ based on the dog’s agony, until eventually he died.
Does it look like art to you?
But this is not all … the prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the ‘installation’ was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008.
Let’s STOP HIM!!!!!
Click on the following link :

or
http://www.petitiononline.com/13031953/petition.html or just copy it in your browser to sign a petition to stop him to do it again, then digit the name Guillermo Vargas Habacuc to find the petition to sign.
Please do it.
It’s free of charge and it will only take 1 minute to save the life of an innocent creature.
Please also send this e-mail to as many contact as you can… Let’s stop him!!!
If you want to double check all the above informations you can google the name of the ‘artist’ to see all I have just said corresponds to truth.

Last updated 11:13pm (Mla time) 07/25/2007MANILA, Philippines — Where’s the connection between Michael Jackson and inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center?View it on YouTube.Millions of people around the world had already viewed a video uploaded on the popular web site that showed more than a thousand Cebu inmates performing the famous zombie dance from the 1984 music video of Jackson’s monster hit “Thriller”.As of 10:44 p.m. Manila time Wednesday, the video has been viewed 1,152,025 times.Their well-coordinated yet rip-roaring routine, apparently part of a recent program from within the prison facility, had landed on popular US entertainment television shows, including newscasts from E! Television on Wednesday. The video was uploaded by Byron Garcia, security consultant of the Cebu Provincial Government and brother of Cebu governor Gwendolyn Garcia. It can be viewed using this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMnk7lh9M3oThe Cebu inmates had also performed several other numbers similarly accessible on YouTube. These include their rendition of Queen’s 1984 hit “Radio Ga-ga” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAVVVMcTShQ&NR=1) and “I Will Follow Him” from the 1992 movie “Sister Act,” and a Muslim song “Dayang Dayang” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fptZ3FY-AwY&mode=related&search=) . The Jollibee Scandal Feat. Official Statement From the Company October 26, 2006

Dear Parents,
We regret to inform you that a video depicting our well-loved
Jollibee mascots in a distasteful situation is now circulating
online. The material is obviously no more than someone’s idea of a
senseless amusement. Yet we cannot ignore the equally obvious risk
of its effect on our children.
Jollibee created the mascot for kids, their wholesome fun and
carefree innocence. We’ve worked hard and unceasingly for the mascot
to earn your kids’ trust and love. It would be so sad to have all
this swept away by one mindless prank.
We will not let this pass, neither will we let it happen again. Be
assured we are taking all necessary steps to bring the culprits into
account. One thing we know we can count on is your support in
countering this threat.
Please help us spread the word that this corrupting material should
not be passed on any further. This simple act of control will go a
long way in protecting our children.
We apologize for any offense this incident may have caused, and
thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Sincerely,
JOHN VICTOR TENCE

This has got to be one of the funniest I’ve heard of in a long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired.
This is presumably a true story from the WordPerfect Help line which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to say, the Help Desk employee was fired however, he is currently suing the WordPerfect organization for “Termination without Cause.” This is the actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee (now I know why they record these conversations).
“Rich Hall computer assistance; may I help you?”
“Yes, well, I’m having trouble with WordPerfect.”
“What sort of trouble?”
“Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away.”
“Went away?”
“They disappeared.”
“Hmmm. So what does your screen look like now?”
“Nothing.”
“Nothing?”
“It’s a blank; it won’ t accept anything when I type.”
“Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out?”
“How do I tell?”
“Can you see the C: prompt on the screen?”
“What’s a sea-prompt?”
“Never mind, can you move your cursor around the screen?”
“There isn’t any cursor: I told you, it won’t accept anything I type.”
“Does your monitor have a power indicator?”
“What’s a monitor?”
“It’s the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it’s on?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that?”
“Yes, I think so.”
“Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it’s plugged into the wall.
“Yes, it is.”
“When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one?”
“No.”
“Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable.”
“Okay, here it is.”
“Follow it for me, and tell me if it’s plugged securely into the back of your computer.”
“I can’t reach.”
“Uh huh. Well, can you see if it is?”
“No.”
“Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over?”
“Oh, it’s not because I don’t have the right angle it’s because it’s dark.”
“Dark?”
“Yes, the office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window.”
“Well, turn on the office light then.”
“I can’t.”
“No? Why not?”
“Because there’s a power failure.”
“A power…….a power failure?…. Aha, Okay, we’ve got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff your computer came in?”
“Well, yes, I keep them in the closet.
“Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from.”
“Really? Is it that bad?”
“Yes, I’m afraid it is.”
“Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them?”
“Tell them you’re just too stupid to own a computer.”
Have a nice day…
A Ghostly Car Ad November 8, 2005
Posted by Anton in Watch This, Witty Humor.add a comment
Strange but interesting.
This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot.
The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon.
Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road….Spooky!
Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide.
If you LISTEN to the ad, you'll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial.
A little creepy but pretty cool!
